Wedding days are an adventure. A big, crazy, fun adventure. And as such, things can be thrown into chaos in the blink of an eye. Katie & Digant's wedding was going to be outside on the beautiful lawn at Buffalo Trace Distillery. But then a monsoon came through and there was a lake where the ceremony was supposed to be. We all scrambled to be sure the couple still had a lovely day. And you know what? It's not the rain or the ruined ceremony space that I remember from their day. It's the smile on Katie's face when she saw her groom. It's the laughter from her friends and family during the speeches. It's the love between the two of them that brightened the entire evening. And I hope that the pictures from her evening reflect the beauty of their love rather than the chaos of the day.
